Proceeding with Friday thread, I have been poked with a stick to start a Saturday thread. As to the orange cat, one seems to have adopted my front porch.

    All happy subjects welcome here.

I have personally fried the cat and put him on the barbecue. Do you have a problem with that?

That ain't funny. I have a song for you, however:

(Sung to the tune of "Cat's in the Cradle")

Did you ever think when you eat Chinese
It's not pork or chicken but a fat Siamese.
Yeah, the food tastes great, so you don't complain,
But that's not chicken in your chicken chow mein.
It seems to me I ordered sweet and sour pork,
But Garfield's on my fork, yeah, he's purring there on my fork.

There's a cat in the kettle at the Peking Moon,
The place where I go every day at noon.
They can feed you cat, but you never know
What they're frying up in dough, boy,
They fry it real crisp in dough.

          Found it on Youtube:

When you drain off fat, are you going to give it a good seasoning. Or add some spices etc. Will be quite bland without.

What I do is crumble up the cooked meat and mix it with a can of different kinds of beans or canned macaroni and beef, etc. And yes, I do break out the garlic salt. Adding the meat like that turns a cheap, bland, depressing meal into a truly awesome, luxurious feast.
