Twitter has launched it's new Beta service called lists such that create muliple lists to your twitter profile and categorize based on your own likeness such as friends, colleges, fav blogs...etc

Now check the twitter's team list here. Here are some screen-shots that helps you well understand these lists.

By this you can create as many lists and twitter has decided to expand this feature for all.

Also create your lists either public or private and Add your contacts to the lists and so on...

I've created my twitter list here..and there could check out the updates of my subscribed tweets, also follow them and check out your followers just as normal twitter profile...

I never like the Twitter. I think after signing up, a lot of people have abandoned the account.

I've done this using a tweak to TweetDeck for a long time now.  Personally, I like my process of list creation better than what Twitter has come up with thus far.

I have been using HootSuite for a while and I find it extremely easy and useful. Plus it has the "lists" feature built in.

IMO Twitter needs to stay ahead of the curve on these new uses for it's service.

I feel using the "share" section on most websites helps people not abandon their accounts.  Whenever I write a new Hub I share it with Twitter.  I've gotten many sign ups and I have come many useful websites to help me earn additional revenue with Adsense.
