Read with somber tempo
Early bird begins to wake
A new day a dawning
Commences his chirping
No worm he’ll catch this early morning
The sun now rise,
Heat beats down,
Scorches leaves
That lay upon the ground
As we see the day gleam
Last forever it will seem
No longer can we live,
’Cos I wanna be a part of this
Clouds now pass
Through the sky
Sun now leaves
as the moon will rise
In the night,
The stars will glow,
Soon it will be time
For the moon to go
As we see the night go past
Wishing that it would last
No longer can I live,

A work in progress but would love to hear what you all think, thanks. As this was really off the top of my head I am unaware of any songs like this but I am not sure, something could have planted something in the back of my head as the last line sounds familiar.

that is a very interesting interpretation of "Day and Night".
I like that and would definitely be able to use it in my works. I wear Black and White as a theme to describe Night and Day, because I believe the Sun and the Moon have a very important impact on our lives and the way we live.- 84

I still don't think the lyrics alone can provide enough insight into the lyrics. I'll try and find a program which I can download to make the tune so you guys can all hear it.
If I can somehow magically compose music that is.
