Im on my adsense whitelist page now and need some help. I don't quite understand what they are saying. Can someone help me please' Thanks'

    Choose your site settings:

0Allow any site to display ads for my account
0Only allow certain sites to display ads for my account
In the field provided, list URLs of sites that you want to display your ads. Then click "Save changes". If you put your ad code on a page not on this list, ads will still be displayed, but impressions and clicks will not be recorded.

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like you are in adwords and not adsense. Adwords is an advertising program to draw traffic to your site which you pay for.

Adsense is when you display ads on your pages and you get paid for clicks.

Unless your paying to advertise your hubs/websites/blogs, you are in the wrong section.

Im at these whitelist page. What i understand is that this is the place where you can prevent Google from running ads with your publisher id on any other domains. i don't know which option to choose because i dont quite understand it.
But i found this site where it is displaying all hubpage users publisher id on it. So i guess i don't bother with this whitelist page then.

I thought the id was suppose to be confidential. hmm

    He-he Ashwin smile

Yes, put HP there as "hubpages.com", and if you use adsense on any other site, put its main url there, too.

How is your phone doing btw? smile

Thanks - looked at the first link you posted http://adsspy.com/search.php?q=hubpages.com

Don't really like the idea of everyones adsense ID out in the public realm but at least they are not identifyable. I guess anyone can look if they view your source code anyway.

I really don't understand this white list thing - the link you give just takes me to sign into my adsense account though I did find this which might be useful: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/A … &hl=en

I guess the safest thing is to specify which sites you use your adsense ID on.

Yes Susana, I was suppose to just type hubpages url in the box and choose the second box. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out here. Even if they are not identifyable i don't think its right that our pub id is displayed there. Don't think anyone use it but its still not right. Thank you once again Susana for helping me out. smile

Misha I feared so myself R.I.P. to my phone then. sigh... 350 dollars gone down the toilet.
Thanks for helping me out here buddy. smile

Nah, it is not confidential, as Susana says everyone can see it in the source code - that's exactly why you have a whitelist. smile

And sorry about your phone. Hate to bring bad news, but if it is still dead chances are it will stay dead forever...
