Playmates Toys is a toy manufacturer that has over the years produced lots of series of Simpsons action figures, vehicles and accessories. The sets started being produced in 2001 and continue to the present day. The Springfield Nuclear Power Plant was one of the Playmates Environments in the Simpsons series that could be used with action figures from all the series. Each figure when placed on a pin in the environment would say a certain individual phrase.

The Springfield Nuclear Power Plant set came with an exclusive Radioactive Homer figure and features the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant Sector 7G control room. In the window there is a scene of meltdown, there is also a security/safety console and a doorway with an image of a corridor.
