As Magneto brings color to the field, Spencer chooses to go with style.

On this edition of Character Analysis, a new hero and a veteran villain to the series. We look at the Bionic Commando Nathan "Rad" Spencer and the Master of Magnetism, Magneto.

Spencer - After putting a stop to the Albatros Project, the years haven't been kind to Nathan. For eight years, he worked as a loyal Bionic agent before he realized the truth behind his assignments and helped two other Bionics escape where he was imprisoned for that decision. Just before his execution, an experimental device explodes within Ascension City, wiping out the city and killing all its citizens. A terrorist organization known as BioReign took responsibility and so his former superiors assigned Nathan the task of taking down BioReign. But during his journey, Nathan will uncover the truth of behind his Bionic Arm and the fate of his wife, Emily Spencer.

A melee character that can take a lot of punishment. Using his Bionic Arm, he can bring opponents straight to him, possibly the only anti-keepaway character in the game.

Specials
+ Wire Grapple - Spencer's Bionic Fist shots forward and has many functions: Bring Spencer in close, to make a hasty withdraw, brings the enemy to Spencer, which can be followed by an attack especially the Air Versions. This move comes in all Versions.
+ Jaw Breaker - Spencer delivers a devastating uppercut, sending the enemy into the air.
+ Armor Piercer - Drawing his Bionic Arm back, Spencer then gives a powerful short punch.

Hypers
+ "Bionic Arm!" - Lv1 - Spencer charges forward using his Bionic Arm as a lance.
+ Bionic Beatdown - Lv1 - Spencer uses Wire Grapple to bring the opponent in, pounds him twice before uppercutting him/her off-screen, then winds up his bionics before Wire Grappling the enemy, smacking the enemy to the ground before delivering a charging punch.

Magneto - Born to a wealthy polish family in the 1920s, he was a young boy when they were forced to flee from the Nazis. However their flight to Poland was short-lived as the Nazis invasion of Poland commencing. Witnessing the execution of his parents and sister, his powers manifested at an early age, but spent the remainder of the war inside a Concentration Camp. The years that followed led him down a destructive path where he believes mutantkind should be the dominant species. Declared one of the strongest mutants on Earth, Magnus is a force to be reckoned with.

A ranged keepaway character, Magneto is equipped with a variety of moves that keep the enemy at bay no matter where they come from.

Specials
+ EM Disruptor - Magneto fires a purplish beam of energy.
+ Magnetic Blast - In the air, Magneto shoots a curved wave of energy down toward the ground.
+ Hyper Grav - Charging for a second, he fires a quick static energy that stuns the enemy and brings next to Magneto.
+ Force Field - Title says it.

Hypers
+ Magnetic Tempest - Lv1 - Magneto sprays metal chunks forward in every angle.
+ Magnetic Shockwave - Lv1 - Magneto stomps his hand to the ground, releasing pillars of magnetic energy toward his opponent.
+ Gravity Squeeze - Lv3 - Magneto raises his hands up, glowing with energy. The opponent is trapped in a sphere of gravity where Magneto squeezes his hand into a fist, crushing the enemy all at once.
