Fifa 15 Ultimate Team Trading Tips

Updated on October 1, 2014

Early Days

So guys and gals Fifa 15 is out and its great, There have been some minor glitches and the market has crashed on the odd occasion but on the whole it has been a lot better than previous ultimate team markets and that can only be a blessing.

Buying and selling players in this early stage can always be a bit of a minefield and can lead to you losing coins but in the main you should be OK and turn a profit. At the end of the day you have opened some packs, you have a few thousand coins, what else are you going to do apart from try and play the market.

So where do you start, well you need to start with the most popular area on the market and that currently as we speak is the BPL, The premier league is so diverse and we have had some fantastic additions over the summer months such as Herrera, Di maria, Costa, Fabregas and Falcao just to mention a few.

You cant just jump into trading without doing a little bit of research which can be boring but is a necessity, So what follows is a step by step guide on who and how to bid so as you can get it right first time. The following is based on xbox one so the prices will vary guys depending on what console your on.

Who And How

So who are you going to bid on, Well although there is no fool proof way of making massive profit, I would suggest sticking to players that are worth more than 1500 coins and less than 10000 coins. This covers the vast majority of premier league players and ensures you have plenty to choose from.

I will let you know who I started out with and you can go ahead and try my technique. You do have to have massive amounts of patience. A lot of the time someone will hit the BIN button before you do but you just have to move on and keep trying. Please bear in mind that at the early stages of this games release these prices are going to fluctuate so the prices are not really a guide more of a point of letting you know the kind of profits available if you pick the right person at the right time.

The first guy I was bidding on was Ross Barkley, the technique I use most of the time is to go and pick a random yet popular BPL player and then go and stalk them on the market, When I was looking at Barkley he was selling for anywhere between 3500 and 4500 coins, so I go to the market and put in Barkley's name and then a max BIN of 2500, this means that if I can get him for around this price I can make after tax 1775coins if he sells for 4500 and 825 coins if I sell at the lower figure

Now just keep searching, if the engine tells you there is nobody found then just hit search again, Please please be ready to jump straight to the BIN section if a Barkley pops up, you have to be really quick gentlemen. I bidded on around 40 Barkleys and won around 10 so you are only successful around 25% of the time. Still out of the 10 Barkleys I won in around 25minutes I made a total profit of around 12k, Not too shabby.

The second guy I was bidding on was Ander Herrera, The main reason was because he was non rare there were lots more of his cards being put up for sale. I checked the market and saw that Hererra was selling for around 2500-2800 coins, I then simply went to the BIN section and put in a max BIN of 1500. For the first couple of minutes to my dismay there was no one available. I persisted and in the next breath 4 popped up, I got two of them and immediately listed them for start price of 1900 ensuring even at that price I made coins, and a BIN of 2700.

I kept up with this kind of bidding and next up I will let you know the Guy I made lots on and also how to perfect this technique no matter who you are buying.

Perfect Your Trading Technique

So the guy who I made quite a bit of money trading with is Gary Cahill, Speed is the essence of Fifa 15 and everyone wants to counteract fast strikers with fast centre-backs, Now while Cahil may not be the quickest guy he is also a great defender with strength.l

Cahill when I started trading was selling for around 15k, If you do a search on the market though and keep your BIN maximum to 10 or 11k then you will get a few pop up every couple of minutes or so. You just have to be patient, Most of the time I was making around 2500 profit on Cahill and I was averaging 4 every 10 minutes of searching. That's 15k profit per hour if your patient.

So how do you do this technique, well its quite simple but for those that have never played ultimate team before it can be a little daunting, Basically you are racing to hit the BIN button on your controller quicker than countless other people and you need to keep a cool head.

Pick a player that you believe is popular, as I have previously stated I would stick with premier league for now. Say you decide to pick Ramsey, then go to the market type his name in and do a search, watch all of the Ramseys in the last 10 minutes of their auctions and see what they eventually go for, both bidding and BIN. For arguments sake his average BIN is 5k then you set your search bar to BIN max of 3500 and do a search, the second it says, nothing found, search again by pressing Y. Keep doing this but be ready to move up and press A on the BIN if one pops up. You have to be real quick. If your not having much luck after 2minutes then move the max price up by around 2-300 coins. Just remember to factor in EA's 5% tax.

Its that easy guys, it works with everyone, there are so many people playing and lots of them are either lazy or not knowledgeable on the market value of their players so take advantage. Someone is always going to list a player at 20-30% less than they are worth and you are going to be the person to buy them. Good luck and happy bidding.

Any questions on this or other techniques then feel free to hit me up with questions and I will answer within 24 hours. Thanks guys, Oh and below is a screen-shot of how well I have done with around 15 hours playing time and only my loyalty packs opened. Thanks again guys. Also feel free to add me on xbox live GT: warchild1975
