How I got free items from the web

Updated on January 9, 2012

Introduction

I'm sure you have heard the expression "nothing is for free" right? Well what if I told you that expression is obsolete these days and that you can eliminate that from your mind? The purpose of this Hub is to show you how I have received different items for free on the internet. It's not hard and with time effort, you can also start getting things for free from the internet.

FREE!
FREE!

List of items I have recieved

Here is a short list of things I have recieved. I look forward to getting many more things!

-A 3x5 German flag

-A sample of Kosher cereal

-A bible

-Terminix informational video

-some posters

-samples of vitamin c powdered mix

How I did it

Most people don't think about this, but it's right benethe you! The first place to start searching is Google. I did a numerous searches, one being "things you can get for free on the web" and I got a whole bunch of freebie websites. I dug through different ones and I found one that had reviews on it. It was called Totally Free Stuff. It's like a directory so to speak of links where you can get different free things like stickers for example. The site has everything in categories. So if you're looking for a free sample of fragrance you would go under "Health and Beauty" or "Product samples".

I looked up men's fragrance samples and ordered a few. I found Lacoste and Hugo on there that were offerering samples of some of their products. I recieved them like two weeks later in the mail! No costs to me whatsoever! I also recieved a sample of Kosher cereal in the mail. It was a small box but it was enough to have a bowl size worth! Again, no costs to me at all! One thing to watch out for is dead links or products are out of stock. There have been a few times where I see something of interest and the link is dead.

I mentioned earlier in the hub how I got a free 3x5 German flag in the mail. I got a five dollar gift card from a website called "Best 5 Everything". I stumbled upon it one day while I was browsing Craigslist, I saw something about recieving $20 worth of Amazon gift cards just for creating best of lists or something along those lines. So I checked it out and signed up. You have to create the best five of (insert topic/subject) and you earn points which then get converted every month. The more lists you make, the more points you earn. You also get a few points for rating other users best five list. A sample list would be like "Best 5 places to vacation in the world" or "Best 5 things to do while in Australia". You can be very creative and come up with dozens of these lists.

You can only spend in multiples of 5. I redeemed my points a month ago, and I must admit, it did take me a good while! I logged on my Amazon account and looked for a items that I was interested that i could get for 5 dollars on the gift card. I found a 3x5 German flag on there and used it to get the flag! If you are in no hurry to get just five dollars, then earn as many points as you can get so you get more money on your gift card. Remember, you can only redeem in multiples of five! If you have three dollars accumulated, you can not redeem the gift card. One other important note, you can also donate to charity. Rather than turning in your points for a gift card, you can donate to charity. I am not honestly sure what organizations or groups are available but if you're feeling generous and helpful, go for it!

Conclusion

I have demonstrated that you can truly get things for free and eliminate the negative stigma about free things in life! All you have to do is look! The rewards are out there...so close basically underneath you! The power of the internet has made these rewards a lot easier to recieve. "Ask it, imagine it, recieve it".

Happy hunting and good luck! :)
