Mortal Kombat Reboot

The mortal kombat reboot is almost upon fans of the mortal kombat gaming world. It is not mortal kombat 9 but simply called Mortal Kombat. To hardcore fans of the mortal kombat universe, mortal kombat games and movies knowledge are at the tips of their fingers, but to those wanting to learn more about the mortal kombat universe, a simple recap is necessary.

The mortal kombat reboot will see familiar characters reentering the MK tournament. The purpose of the MK tournament or mortal kombat tournament is to provide a platform for representatives of the Outword against champions of the Earth realms, of which Earth is of course a major part of. The champions of the tournament (usually from the Earth realm) will be granted immunity against the invasion hordes of the Outword and become the champion protector of the respective worlds. The main characters of the MK world include Liu Kang, champion protector of the Earth Realms, and Raiden, his mentor and lightning god avatar. On the side of the Outword include characters like Kitana, princess warrior of the vanquished state of Edenia and Shao Kahn, evil emperor of the Outworld. Other memorable characters include Scorpion and Sub-zero and Sonya.

Games involving the mortal kombat universe have been there for eons. It started with Mortal Kombat in 1992, and the success of this game as the “gorery” version of Street Fighter, brought about sequels after sequels. 2, 3, 4 and so on and so on every 1 to 3 years culminating in the most recent one called Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, where characters of the DC Universe such as the Green Lantern are pitted against mortal kombat characters such as Sonya. Finally 18 years later, a mortal kombat reboot true to the original mortal kombat game will be released.

Mortal Kombat Movie Reboot

There have been some movies and tv dvds released for the mortal kombat universe. Who would not remember the rather mortal kombat style fighting and yet humerous dvd series starring Kristanna Loken as Taja? Later the moral kombat world would be rewritten into 2 mortal kombat movies. In recent months, a rumoured mortal kombat movie trailer has been leaked.......

One can hear the computer churning away. The mortal kombat reboot is almost upon us. Let the Kombat Begin!
