Spiderman Webs of Shadows

In Spiderman Webs of Shadows, the neighbourhood friendly spiderman takes action against alien symbiont which threaten to take over New York City. This is a great game, if you love Spiderman's arch nemesis Venom, and the ability of Spiderman to take on Venom's black costume, and ability. This is also great if you are looking for a rpg type game, where you take on the mantle of a hero and play through the storyline as the red spiderman or the black (evil) spiderman, as shown in the picture.

In Spiderman Webs of Shadows, the conflict between Spiderman and Venom starts early in the game, at the end of Chapter 1 and the start of Chapter 2, so fans do not have to wait long, for this action to start. Here Venom takes hold of Spiderman - is this the end of Spidey?

Spiderman Webs of Shadows Powers

In Spiderman Webs of Shadows, Powers that the player character can have depends on whether you want to play as the red spiderman or the black Venom-infused Spiderman.

Powers include Web-Strike, where the Spider-Man will initiate web attacks against the opponent. Special Meters allow the Spider-Man to wait for special power attacks against the enemies. Bored of running? Spiderman lifts off the ground using Web Swinging or Zipping. And of course the most famous of all the Spidey powers - Spider-Sense.

In Spiderman Webs of Shadows, using these powers will create experience points (XP), which will be invested in powers such as Ground Attack, Wall Attack and Air Attack.

Spiderman Webs of Shadows Heroes and Villains

In Spiderman Webs of Shadows, Heroes and Villains are plentiful. Some heroes are villains and villains are heroes depending on your progression as Red Spiderman or Black Spiderman.

Natually Mary Jane Watson makes her customary damsel in distress role. Luke Cage appears as the invulnerable crime fighter. Black Cat also appears. Think Spidey should choose her over MJ. No Superhero rpg action game is complete without Woverine and Venom.

Other Spiderman Games

Other great spiderman games, apart from Spiderman - Web of Shadows, to enjoy whilst we endure the long wait for Spiderman 4 (or the Spiderman reboot movie) include Spiderman - Friend or Foe, Spiderman 3, and the latest to come out soon - Spider-Man - Shattered Dimensions.

The release date for Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is September 2010. In Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man accidentally smashes a powerful interdimensional balancing device, so sending instability into 4 dimensions, where 4 different spidermen exist. These 4 very helpful Spiderman must now cooperate with each other to mend the broken device. These 4 spidermen include the original red spiderman, and the Noir Spiderman, a mystical stealthy Spiderman who is bitten by a magical spider, and develops mystical spidey powers.
