 Aromatherapy massage is a type of alternative medice that uses essential oils from herbs, fruits, plants, grass and twigs. These essential oils helps to reduce stress, back pain, arthritis, back problems, neck problems, sinus and breathing problems. Carrier oils are generally used for massage therapy. Carrier oils also called as base oils or vegetable oils are used to dilute essential oils. Here are some aromatherapy recipes for massage.

 1. Aromatherapy recipe for backache massage:

Ingredients:

  • Eucalytus oil - 2 drops
  • Leomon oil - 1 drop
  • Lavender oil - 2 drops
  • Carrier oil - 20ml

How to make backache massage oil:

Combine eucalytus oil, lavender oil, lemon oil in carrier oil. Massage gently in your back. This is a easy home made recipe for backache massage.

2. Aromatherapy recipe for summer stimulating massage:

Ingredients:

  • Lemon essential oil - 2 drops
  • Sweet orange essential oil - 3 drops
  • Rosemary oil - 1 drop
  • Apricot kernel carrier oil - 30 ml

How to make summer stimulating massage oil:

Add lemon oil, sweet orange oil, rosemary oil in 30 ml of carrier oil. Good for shoulders.

Ingredients:

  • Rose oil - 2 drops
  • Violet oil - 1 drop
  • Geranium oil - 1 drop
  • Carrier oil - 20ml

Take ylang ylang oil, jasmine oil, geranium oil, and carrier oil in a clean bottle. Shake well and apply gently. Jasmine oil used in baths, skin care, diffusers and massage oils.

Ingredients:

  • Sandalwood oil - 3 drops
  • Chamomile oil - 2 drops
  • Carrier oil - 20 ml

How to make bedtime massage oil:

Combine sandalwood oil, chamomile oil, and carrier oil in a bottle. Shake well. This bedtime massage will reduce sound sleep.
