Chiropractic Therapy - Network Chiropractors

Updated on July 28, 2011

A Healthy Spine

What the Heck is a Network Chiropractor?

Network Chiropractors use Network Spinal Analysis (NSA), which was founded by Dr. Donald Epstein. The philosophy he came up with is that the spine is channel of energy which connects planetary consciousness to each individual consciousness. Through gentle manipulation of the energy in your spine, they can reduce tension in the spinal column. Network is an alternative therapy. Many people who practice Network, are also certified chiropractors, though some are not.

My Experience with Network

I had one of those evil neck cricks that don't allow you to turn your head to the left or right without extreme paint. It was probably brought on by a combination of stress and lack of sleep. I was taken to a Network Chiropractor in New York City. Dr. Zev Roiser has 2 locations in New York and is also a licensed chiropractor.

I had never been to see a Network Chiropractor before, so I had no idea what I was in for...

It was very gentle. I laid on a massage table in a room with four other patients, all lined up on their own massage tables, with faces poking through the little hole of the table. (this leaves little red "V" marks on your face...a small price to pay). He walked around the room and one by one he worked on aligning our energy. A touch at the top of the neck, followed by a gentle rub at the base of the spine. Several minutes would go by between taps, touches, brushes, gentle pushes...and the feeling of a dreamlike state took over. Eventually, I was asked to sit up and I was muscle tested to see if I needed any supplements or nutrients that I may have been lacking. I also was sprayed with a little Biofreeze to help with immediate pain relief.

It was a gentle experience and I found relief within about 4 hours after leaving the office. Knowing the routine of my neck pain, if I had not gone to him, I could have suffered in pain another week at least.

Since my first experience, I have been back about 5 times for various needs. Each time was successful, enjoyable and relaxing. I highly recommend it as an alternative to pain pills and prescription drugs. And, many insurance companies are now covering Network doctors on their plans.
