Emotion of Thought

Thoughts fly in no coherent form

moving at the speed of light

as they run fleeing through my mind.

Feelings that materialize in abundance

as I am reaching desperately for an anchor.

Ambiguous anonymity invade the

Sanctity that immortalizes

images that filter through,

the heart of the perpetual

being that is the soul.

Memories arrive unbidden,

seeming foreign

as if they were not my own,

giving moments of lucidly

where I am placed

in areas that are

mysterious to me.

Hope hovers on

gossamer wings

tragically wandering

in and out

teasing me, with thoughts

of possibilities, and in

anticipation of a life

lived in normality.

Life moves on giving

rise to the knowledge

that I will survive

and above all I

know that to exist

is never enough.
