How to Start Dieting

You want to lose weight, but where do you begin? First, it's important that you find out how to start dieting, then you should ask yourself if you are truly ready to begin. Learning how to start dieting and having the desire to slim down is not enough. Without a clear action plan and commitment from you, chances are that your weight-loss efforts will fail - even if you discover exactly how to start dieting.

Research has shown that one out of every six Americans diet each year. And that out of 629 women who started a weight-loss diet, 93% of were unsuccessful. With numbers that high, it's likely that you've been down the diet road before - probably many times before.

The goal is to make this time - the last time. Once you find out exactly how to start dieting, and what it takes to make the results last, you will reach your ideal weight.

Getting to a new you starts before you decide to start or stop eating something. How to start dieting begins with the recognition that the weight loss journey will require time, dedication, and effort - but is filled with fun and simple lifestyle changes, too.
