How to build big arms and shoulders

Many people wonder how to get big shoulders and arms. Big arms and big shoulders can really make a person look bigger, stronger and compliments other body parts, such as the chest. Read on to find out how to get big shoulders and big biceps, triceps and forearms.

How to get big shoulders and arms

There are hundreds of shoulder workouts one can do to get big shoulders. Getting big shoulders is something many people strive for. How does a person know which workout is the best. Well there are three very effective routines a person can do that will help them get big shoulders. The three routines are a compound set routine, tri-set routine and a giant set routine.

Compound set routine

A compound set is when a person does two exercises in a row, without rest in between, for the same muscle. In this case it will be for the shoulders. For example, a person will do a few reps of barbell shoulder presses and then immediately do a few reps of dumbbell shoulder prices. Once the person does the last rep of dumbbell shoulder presses, then they completed one compound set.

Now that a person knows what a compound set is, they can learn how to use them to get big shoulders. A person should do a total of six or eight compound sets for their shoulders, doing a total of four exercises. They need to choose the four exercises that they want to do and then perform a total of four compound sets. They should train their shoulders with compound sets for about six weeks. Training with heavyweight is the best way to build big shoulders.

Tri-Sets

Tri-Sets are when a person chooses three exercises to do one after another, without taking a break in between. In this case it will be three exercises for shoulders. For example, a person will do barbell shoulder presses for a few reps, then they will do a few reps of dumbbell shoulder presses and then do a few reps of lateral raises. After the last rep of lateral is performed, one tri-set was completed.

Now that a person knows what tri-sets are, they can use them to get big shoulders. A person should choose the three exercises that they want to do and then do a total of four tri-sets. They should do a tri-set routine for at least six weeks. Using heavyweight is ideal.

Giant Sets

Giant sets are when a person does four or more exercises one after another, without taking a rest in between exercises. A person will take a rest after they completed the last rep of the last exercise. If a person does a few reps of barbell shoulder presses followed by reps of dumbbell shoulder presses, followed by lateral raises followed by upright rows, then once a person completes the last rep of upright rows they have completed one giant set.

Giant sets are great to build big shoulders. A person should choose four exercises to do and then perform a total of four giant sets. They should do a giant set routine for their shoulders for at least four weeks. A person who wants to get big shoulders should train with heavyweights.

A person who wants to get big shoulders can do so by choosing to do one of the above routines and do the routine for a few weeks. The above routines are intense and a person will find that using them is a great way to get big shoulders.


Get Big Arms

A person has many options to choose from if they want to get big arms. Getting big arms is achievable but a person needs guidance. Read on for some routines that a person can follow to get big arms.

Super-set routine

A super set is when two exercises for two different muscles are performed one after another, with no rest in between. A super set is similar to a compound set and people often get the two confused. Super sets are great for a person who wants to get big arms.

A person should choose two biceps and triceps exercises to perform, and then do a total of six super sets. For example, a person will do barbell curls for a few reps followed by tricep dumbbell extensions for a few reps, and then take a little rest as they have just completed one super set. A person should do a super set routine for their biceps and triceps for at least four to six weeks. Super sets are great to use when the goal is to get big arms.

Giant Sets for Biceps and Triceps

A person who wants to get big arms can also use a giant set routine. One good way to use a giant set routine is to train biceps and triceps on the same day. A person should do two total giant sets for their biceps and then do a total of two giant sets for their triceps. This is an intense giant set routine but it is a great way to get big arms quickly. A person should do a giant set routine for about four weeks.

Forearms

A person who wants to get big arms sometimes neglects their forearms. A person who trains their forearms at least once or twice a week will develop their forearm muscles and their arms will look bigger too. A person should do a few sets of reverse wrist curls and wrist curls when they train their arms. Training forearms at least once a week is recommended.
