Your bladder is a hollow, muscular pouch that stores your urine. As your bladder becomes full, it expands to take the weight of the urine. Your bladder can actually hold approximately 400 to 600 ml of urine for an average of five hours. It is very important to keep your bladder healthy, if you are not drinking enough water, and you are waiting too long to pass urine this could affect the health of your bladder.
