Updated on April 14, 2013

When You Are A Teenager

If you are a Pakistani teenager, and you want to have healthy, soft skin, then you should know that it is influenced by a number of factors. Here we are going to share some tips that you should start at a young age. The following tips would be a part of your daily life, and it has nothing to do much with make-up. Your skin is at its best when you are a teenager.

Easy Tips for Young Girls:

Healthy Eating: During teen age, girls prefer to eat junk food which is inexpensive, tasty and convenient. But the girls are unaware of the boundless fats, salts and other unhealthy ingredients in this type of food. It is good to take junk foods at times but to keep your skin healthy and young, you diet plan must contain plenty of healthy food like vegetables and fruits. To keep your skin healthy, plan your diet healthy.

Increase Intake of Water:

As a flower can wither, if we do not give it water properly. Its colors are faded, and the texture is distorted. The skin of a teenager is just like a flower, if you do not hydrate it regularly and properly, you could never get a fresh and healthy looking skin. Try to drink plain water as much as you can. Soft drinks and packed juices do contain water, but sugar is also present in these drinks in excessive amounts. High amount of sugar can cause acne on your skin.

Sleep Well:

Sleeping is also important for your body as other things do. For a healthy and fresh look, you should sleep for at-least 7 to 8 hours daily. The body redirects the energy to your hair and skin while sleeping, that it normally uses in your daily activities.

Face Washing:

During the day, your skin is exposed to a number of pollutants, which may block your pores. It is a good habit to wash your face before going to bed. You can also get advice from your parents to use a good cleanser and moisturizer. Ordinary soaps and body lotions can harm your skin.

Skin Protection:

Sunlight can damage your skin badly, and speed up the aging process. You should use a good sun block to protect your skin from the harsh ultraviolet rays. If you have to spend more time in sunlight, you should ask your parent to help you in getting a good SPF (Sun Protection Factor) that is suitable for you.

Decreased Use of Make up:

Excessive use of make-up at a young age can damage your skin. The important thing while you are a teenager, is healthy and fresh skin. You can start using make-up as you grow up, but try to avoid cosmetic products at your teen age as much as you can. Make sure that you remove all make-up before going to bed, as it would allow your skin to breathe normally.

Consult a Beauty Expert:

Try to get consultation of a beauty expert, who can review your skin before advising suitable products for you. Your parents would definitely love to help you in finding a good expert to help you.

If you do not take good care to keep your skin healthy at an early age, you would have to use make-up to cover your unhealthy skin.
