The Fight in the Milk Case: Almond Milk Milk Alternatives
More costly, for sure, but it is it really better than fat free milk or 1% milk? Almond milk is now commonly found near the cow palace- where milk is generally kept. Almond milk and their kin have gained upon the cows- 13% growth. Usually found in quart sizes, prices vary and many health fanatics swear the milk is healthier than cow's milk. But is it?
You compare and decide, based on one cup serving:
Cow milk- nonfat

Obviously, health fanatics paranoid about milk and milk by-products because they claim the cows are being fed steroids or whatever, are wasting their money. The end product is milk and non-fat milk is far superior in all respects. Even the "fat" milk, 2%, is comparable to soy, rice or almond milk and is far cheaper.
Bottom line is that the other milks are no worse to warrant spending that much more money!
