The Secret Of Becoming Clean And Sober

Updated on August 12, 2013

Live Life Clean and Sober

What Is the Secret

How are you at keeping secrets? Do you think there is the secret to becoming clean and sober and if so what do you think it is?

The secret of becoming clean and sober lies within each and every alcoholic, but we don't know just how to go about breaking the silence and revealing this secret.

First off, I am not a Doctor nor a Therapist in the field of addictions, although I have much experience in ways to ruin your life and ways to become an alcoholic.

Learning What My Secret Was

I was one that never liked secrets my entire life, but I was keeping one of the worlds most sought out answer to the question and the secret of becoming clean and sober from my own self.

When someone wants to have sobriety back into their life again, one must reveal the secret that is hidden deep within and the secret question is, "do you want to be clean and sober and if so, what are your plans to starting this new life of sobriety going to be"?

This is just how I was able to tell my secret to my own self. I keep this secret away from myself because I never wanted to give up drinking alcohol and really never cared either.

We the alcoholics walk around for years keeping this secret of how to become clean and sober a secret from ourselves.

The answer to the most sought out question is very easy to answer, and in fact, if we would tell this secret to ourselves years ago, some of us wouldn't be in the situation we are in nowadays.

Give yourself the answer to the secret you have hiding from yourself for so many years.

Ask this simple question to yourself:

I have a secret to tell you that will change your life forever. Do you want to hear what the secret is, or do you want to live the life you have now?

This is a straight forward question to yourself and you should be able to answer the question in a positive way provided you are willing to listen to the revealed secret and your answer is YES I want to surrender to my addictions and start a fresh, clean and sober life.

In order to become clean and sober once and for all, you have to surrender to your addiction, as hard as it might be for many, but by doing so, your life will change in so many ways as did mine.

You will be able to now live the life you were hiding from yourself by being addicted to alcohol. You will be able to see yourself in a all together different way, the way you had not seen yourself when keeping that secret from yourself.

Now that your secret has been revealed to yourself, the next step is telling yourself and others that you are ready to become clean and sober.

This is something to be very proud of and knowing that you have now let out that secret that you have been hiding inside for so long.

You have just admitted that you have a alcohol problem and you are a alcoholic that wants and needs help to get clean and sober.

You have just taken the most important step to recovery and admitting you have a drinking problem and now , your ready to work on that problem and live the life you deserve.

Never Stop Believing in Yourself

Positive Attitude Works Wonders

Keeping a Positive Attitude Is Next

Keeping a positive attitude in life is so important when you have set out to accomplish something you may not think is possible.

So, now you have admitted you have alcohol addiction and you want and need help. What a great decision you have just made and you should be very proud, but this is only the beginning of your recovery process and it's going to take some real hard work, determination and willingness to become clean and sober, but you can do it!

Without having a positive attitude in this quest to become clean and sober, you will never make it. Believe me, if it were not having a positive attitude from the very beginning I would not be here writing about it, I would of failed and still be drinking beer

So get yourself ready to start that positive life you need for success and you will be able to do anything you wish by staying and thinking positive, including getting clean and sober.
