I share my experiences, my emotions and believe in myself. I am positive, confident and love life.

Accept change in life

A Different Routine!

Life in Croatia is different to the one I had In South Africa. Nobody could understand or know that unless they have walked in my shoes or have been there and done that. It is difficult to understand the local people and have had that issue for a few years.

Why do people feel that way?

People don't understand my past life. Most of the local people assume they know me but, don't have a clue about my past life.

I understand not everyone will know about me and my past life, and I don't allow myself to bother about what they have to say, it won't change anything in my mind.

My daily activities keep me active and happy. In the winter, the cold, rain and wind don't always make it possible to be outdoors.

I enjoy that time indoors at planning movie time, reading time, and time for conversations. Those are the important factors that keep my days alive.

Communication is good and it shows we are happy discussing our daily routines and schedules. Movie times are special and reading keeps my mind occupied. It is an escape from reality.

I walk whenever possible a good idea to keep fit. At odd times I visit friends and spend the day out catching up on our experiences. The once-a-week visit to friends back and forth allows for a positive lifestyle.

Winter can be a drag here, but I choose to not let the weather get me down instead, I keep occupied each day with indoor activities.

I often think about new ideas in planning meals, to make the meal tasty and unique. Always a new meal is prepared. and enjoyed. The idea is different, and it makes us look forward to that meal.

Routines change so, I don't get bored with each day. Five months of winter to enjoy or to become depressed, but I make the effort to look at it positively.

A choice I made is to be happy and enjoy the indoors as much as I would enjoy the outdoors. I don't think about how I will manage each winter because I know how to be happy and enjoy my new lifestyle.

I know of others who do get bored in the winter and become depressed. It is not the same for everyone. Every choice you make affects your lifestyle. In my case, I chose to be occupied and happy with my way of life and to accept the life I have.

I avoid sitting at the computer for most of the day, and I don't watch television for more than two hours daily. The simple exercises I do each day helps me through the winter.

Daily walks are the best way to keep fit. Garden planning is another interest of mine. House cleaning is done daily and that makes my space more comfortable.

I listen to music online and that makes me feel cheerful, organize the inside of cupboards and make sure everything is in place.

Read informative books not only romance novels. I avoid stressful moments and focus on my best moments. There are some moments I would rather not investigate like opening Pandora's box.

A to-do list is not what I have a habit of doing, it is just not what I prefer not to follow. Everything I need to do is on my mind and while sitting and relaxing I do what comes to mind.

I always dress up in what I feel most comfortable and good. My appearance is very important. The moment I step out of my bed, I immediately make up the bed.

Meditate for ten minutes, take a walk outside in the fresh country air, and have a glass of lemon water. The second glass of water, plain.

Thereafter, I begin my routine for each day. Coffee is much later or never.

I walk during the morning as it is a great start to each day.

I do laundry once a week and make time for myself to do what I love and appreciate daily. I am on my own, doing what I enjoy and am not disturbed from my moment.

My routine is not the same as everyone else around the village. I plan each day and follow that routine. If, for some reason, my schedule got interrupted not much goes well afterwards.

Springtime is a good time, I begin garden planning and look forward to more outdoor adventures during the much warmer weather.

Walking is daily, but this depends on the weather during the winter. Most plants are pruned in February, such as the pear tree, olive trees, and grapevines.

The local farmers dig into their fields to plant potatoes and at this time of year, I hear them in their fields ploughing and rotivators at its work.

I focus on my garden ideas and improve on them in each season. Ideas come and go, and I like to have new plants for every season.

The routine is just as a stay-home-mom would continue her each day. I am self-employed and work on my own time. It is a pleasure to be home and to work in the time I prefer to in the summer. In this way, I often have time for myself.

The daily routine is exciting and different. Summertime draws hundreds of individuals to the beach daily. Seasonal changes make normal duties a challenge.

After the clock changes an hour forward the longer days feel more tiring. Winter brings us snow, cold, some warmth, rain, wind, and sometimes hail. Summer is hot, sweaty, and tiring on most days, but with the help of a slight breeze, we can survive each day with a smile.

The in-between weather in September is most relaxing and cool. I enjoy all seasons, it is up to me to keep it that way.

The lifestyle is different, and I chose my path and to live by that. Of course, on some days I do moan, but everything I do is part of my life. The way I carry out the daily routine to the way I approach conversions.

I can't ignore or escape my life this is what it is and will remain to be seen. Live to be happy and appreciate what you have in front of you.

Forget about what you can't get your hands on as time will come and everything will be on your side.

You deserve better, and with the good also comes the not-so-good, and the bad. Accept who you are and change your routine whenever possible. Change is good though some people don't know how to accept change.

You do what you can cope with through change, is it your routine or your lifestyle?

Everything you do is for your benefit of you. The routine you chose can become boring after a while; remember you can't stay in that routine forever.

Ever thought of how your life would be without change?

Time helps heal wounds and these wounds are not completely healed. You can make your home anywhere on this planet.

The choice is yours!
