Yoga For After A Binge
I've Binged. What do I do now?
We've all been there. There's that one bad day where you come home and just can't stop stuffing your face with food. Whether it be healthy or not, too much food is never a good idea. Luckily, there are various yoga poses to help with the after binge effect. Yoga poses to improve digestion are key.
Child's Pose
Continue with the order of these poses, holding each pose for at least 20 seconds. Take deep breaths, focus on your breath, and hold the pose longer if necessary.
Sit On Your Heels and Meditate
You did not just commit a heinous crime. You are a human, and humans make mistakes. Accept the past, and think about the future.
Plow Pose
Skip this if you don't feel up to it. Plow pose really aids with digestion, so if you want to give your digestion system a kick, this is the pose for you. Hold up to 2 minutes.
Shoulder Stand
This is a relatively advanced pose. DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER. Yoga is about moving into the spaces you've created, not forcing yourself into poses.
Again, if you are a beginner, do not force yourself into this position.
Sitting Forward Bend
Sit with legs straight in front and touch your toes.
Remember
The past is over. Don't dwell on it. Think positively, and remember that everyone makes mistakes.
