How to have a positive mindset?- impossible is possible

Updated on November 13, 2013

‘ It always seems impossible until it is done’- Nelson Mandela

How do people come out of near fatal conditions?

‘I shouldn’t be alive’ in the Discovery channel is one of my favorite program and when I watch it I am always amazed by the way the people who are injured severely come out of their trauma with immense grit and determination. What makes them do such a near impossible feat, and that too with near fatal injuries? It is their mental strength and positive mindset to make the ‘impossible possible’

Feeling of impossible exists in everyone

The degree of feeling of impossibility differs from person to person, in accordance with their mental attitude, inner strength and also the situation they are in. I had always wanted to write and I know I have a passable talent for writing. I now do write, but I am still overawed by the success of other writers and to this date I have a niggling doubt that it is impossible for me to achieve such a success.

Confident mindset is needed

What makes me feel that it is impossible for me to achieve such a success? It is because I have assumed that I do not have the capacity to attain their fame and this feeling has made me lack the confident mindset to make my venture a success. My efforts are just lukewarm and lack the necessary aggressiveness and push needed to be successful. If only I improve and improvise my knowledge and become mentally tuned to my success, I am sure I can definitely make my mark as a writer. Hopefully I will do it and might be I will share my success story with you.

Incredible feats

Nothing is impossible in this world and if it was considered impossible, you will not see the incredible feats you see every day. Scaling the great Himalayas, researching the unreachable depth of the sea, trekking the awesome Grand Canyon are all a possibility because it was not considered impossible.

Negative character makes everything look impossible

For a dull student, getting a good grade in examination will seem impossible and his mindset fixes on that thought. This thought of feeling impossible to do things is the most negative character of yours which needs rectification. A dull student can come out with flying colors, if only he can make his mindset positive and work towards understanding his subjects and concentrate in his studies.

Concentrate for your success

Concentration is the essence of your success. If your concentration wavers, your input of work is halfhearted and when your efforts are feeble; your success will be off color. When you concentrate in the work you are doing, you find that you see different ways and means which lead to your success and which had hitherto been hidden from your vision because of your lack of concentration.

Confident mindset

Another important aspect needed for achieving the impossible is the mindset to think that nothing is impossible. When your mind tells that you are not capable of doing something, it is amazing to see how you immediately fall in line with your mindset and you do not make efforts to achieve what you wanted to achieve.

Coach your mind

If you can train and coach your mind that you can do the impossible, it is also amazing to see your mind immediately brace itself and gear up to make the impossible possible. So everything depends on your mind set and your capacity to make your mind dance to your positive thoughts. ‘I will do it’ should be your motto and not ‘will I be able to do it’ as most people think and fail.
