3 Lesser Known Thanksgiving Traditions For the Whole Family
Before you know it you will be cutting up a turkey with the loved ones. You will serve Turkey and probably give thanks for all the good things in life, but here are a few lesser known traditions you can try.
1.Hand Turkeys- This is an activity focused on the little ones. Get a pen and have every member of your family outline their hand on a piece of paper. Then have each person decorate and color their turkey in their own special way. Cut them out, compare and share with the whole family!
2. Break the Wishbone- Get the youngest and the oldest members of the family and have them have a tug-of-war with the turkey wishbone. Whoever wins gets their wish!
3.The Christmas Drawing- If you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, or any other holiday during the month of December, have a drawing to see who will have each person as a "secret Santa" this holiday season.
