EXPRESSING THANKS...

BLESS THE VETERANS...YOUNG AND OLD

DEDICATED TO ALL OF YOU...by b. Malin

Bless the Veterans...both Young and Old on their Special Day.

I don't know, and maybe I just don't understand...but why is there so much HATRED over the land? We can demonstrate, we can protest, we can write "nasty things". All the while forgetting who gave us these "freedoms" to do so...Unless we remember to...

Bless the Veterans...both Alive and Dead.

This is America, things are happening here...We have a "two Party System" clawing at each others throats...clawing, and clawing for the People's Votes...Please take time out to...

Bless the Veterans all over the World.

My husband was a Marine...never leaving a man behind..."Semper Fidelis"...Always Faithful.

My brother was in the Army..."Nome, Alaska" he called his home...that is where he kept us safe, during "The Cold War"...until he came home.

So Raise those Flags high...up to the sky...and give the "Salute" as you stand straight and tall.

While we Bless The Veterans, one and all.

Amen, I wish that all of the military bases were within the united states... A world war is ok every now and then even if we are sluggish to get in... oh heck I am feeling hubbalicious again.

...and yes I express a heartfelt thanks to you for doing so ....... my dad was a Canadian soldier during World War II for six years so I know all about that war through him and his experiences ...... my dad was also my best friend and was a wonderful father and husband.

We all have personal stories I would imagine which come out from any war - whether it be good or bad - a good ending or sad ........

Beautiful hub, and a great salute! I worked for many years alongside the military, although a civilian, and I must say...we can't thank them enough for all their sacrifices. All the years, 24/7, that's a lot to give for your people, country and all we stand for. Thanks so much for writing this. Namaste'

B.Malin , One of the most heroic people in my life is my brother Al , a Viet Nam vet , Every time I look at his face and eyes I see the cost of silent viglance that only a veteran could possibly understand. I am not one but you and I are so lucky to know them! Al was a Marine as well......Still is !.....Great tribute and a good wake up call for the whiners of our free societies.......:-}
