Branson is famous for its Christmas light displays, which are collectively called the Branson Area Festival of Lights. Area businesses participate in the Festival by decorating storefronts and grounds with colorful lights, Christmas trees, holly, and other Christmas décor. For more spectacular lights, travel The Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights, which travels through a Christmas wonderland toward Inspiration Tower. From here you can climb to the top and see all of Branson lit up!
Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is an amusement park just outside Branson that combines thrill rides with traditional Ozark crafts. During the holidays, Silver Dollar City provides the holidays in the spirit of the 1880´s. Special holiday shows are given throughout the park, and Christmas food and drink such as hot cider and roasted nuts are provided. There is also a gigantic 17 foot talking Christmas Tree that talks to the kids, and a light show synchronized to music!
