Falling in to Autumn
What a wonderful time of year!
The winds are cool and the sky is clear
Leaves are falling to the ground
Children spinning round and round
Leaves all around them in tempting piles
Bravely falling into the heaps, all you see are the smiles
The trees stand like colorful lollipops on the mountains ahead
See them from a distance or take a walk through them instead....
The fields before me like a patchwork quilt
Red, Orange, Yellow, Brown and Purple all carefully built,
Sewn together by nature as a beautiful autumn gift
Take in the beauty and give your heart a lift
Listen to the laughter, feel the cool air
Fall into the leaves without a care.....
