Thanksgiving is over, so now what do you do?

Do you shop for presents for family/friends, put up your tree or do nothing?

We don't decorate or put up a tree.  I'll start doing some shopping for presents though!  I used to wait until all the college students were gone (the stores become less crowded) but I like to do online shopping too, so I'll start there!

Shop for presents on Black Friday, one of the savings capitals of the year. The day after Thanksgiving, put up all of the home decorations. The week before christmas, write up all of the Christmas cards.

I'll start to decorate for Christmas. That's my holiday! I have an old house that works perfectly for Christmas decorating, and I love to do it - mantle, door arch between living room and dining room, etc. The music will play usually in the evenings, until I'm not happy to hear it any more this year. I'll also watch differnt versions of Scrooge and read the Christmas Carol sometime over the next couple of weeks. During that time, I'll be making presents.

We usually wait until the first week of December to put up our tree. We try to get out to the theater to see The Nutcracker or some other Christmas time performance. We try to shop as sales and deals pop up for friends and relatives as well as make home made gifts.
