It may be read as “to anyone” or “twenty-one,” but right now, I’m referring to a famous band in South Korea, 2ne1, which stands for “New Evolution of the 21st Century”. The “NE” stands for New Evolution and the “21” as 21st century.

The name itself makes people crazy, what more when you hear their music. 2ne1 plays K-pop, Hip-hop, R&B, Electro Pop, and Dance Pop music.
The female band first appeared in a LG Cyon cell phone commercial with their first hit song Lollipop. From then on, the song became a #1 hit on various music charts online and it topped some music TV networks though it was just for the commercial campaign and the band didn’t officially launched their album yet.
Meet 2ne1 members
2ne1 band has four lovely-lady-members namely,
CL (Leader, Rapper, Vocalist) Real name: Lee Chae Rin/Chae Lee/Faith Lee
Bom (Lead Vocalist) Real name: Park Bom
Dara (Vocalist) Real name: Sandara Park
Minzy (Vocalist, Main rapper, Lead Dancer) Real name: Gong Min-ji
Currently, 2ne1 member, Dara, is making a big wave outside the music scene. She had a Cass beer commercial where she has been kissed by the famous Korean lead actor from Boys Over Flowers, Lee Min Ho also known as Jun Pyo from the said Korean TV series. The two are considered one of the hottest stars in Korea today.
And oh,,,Sandara Park a.k.a. Dara started her acting career from the Philippines. But she came back to South Korea to have a big break. She joined the other three girls in 2ne1 in YG Entertainment to train for 4 years until they're all ready to be launched as 2ne1.
Back to 2ne1, my faves are the two Parks...Sandara Park and Park Bom. I love their version of "We Belong Together" popularized by Big Bang and GDragon...Watch and hear Big Bang with Park Bom performed "We Belong Together" below...I've also put a link to "We Belong Together" English lyrics.

Omg! I am a huge fan of 2ne1! I loved their song, "Lollipop" and "Fire"! CL sounds so much like the late and great "Left Eye" from TLC. Love her voice! She is so talented! I've been hooked on her song "Leaders" feat. Teddy and my cutie from Big Bang, GDragon! And I fell in love with Park Bom's voice since "We Belong Together" and "Forever With You" and the rest of the gals since "Lollipop". So weird how much of an age difference between them there is yet they all look like they're in the same age group!

yup, I wonder what's their secrets...when I watch Korean movies, I can't avoid to be jealous of their perfect skin. Like the elders skin don't sag at all, seriously,,,is it in their genes? lol
I know!!! Tightly firm skin! And no, I'm not even Korean lol. I just love music in general and I appreciate it all! I'm actually Cambodian. But I do love my Korean music!

I love their music too and their love stories in movies...I guess there's also a secret in their movies, I mean watching 'em makes me cry to death lol They would strike your heart over and over again ;p
