I recently read a hub by DRG and commented on it. It was striking how regular the number 7 come up in our everyday lives, and it pitches up often. How often we see and hear the letter or word 7. I put together a few “Cliché’s” if I may called that way about the number 7 ,and the profound effect it has on our daily lives.

It’s a very mystical number that originates from way, way back, and is commonly referred to, or used (287 times) in the Bible, and the Koran. Even very well known verses has the number 7 in the verse itself…

Some people swear to it that the number has lucky written all over it, some argue it’s just a number. Now, I’m not superstitious at all, but the frequency of the number made me very curious about it. Funny enough, my lucky number was always, 7, but thus far has brought me no significant luck, apart from the bad luck I was receiving.

Gary Player, a legendary golfer said that the harder you practice the luckier you get. Do his words throw the mystical luck, or the luck connoted to any specific number out the window? I tend to agree with him, luck is just a word that we invented to make us feel good about something that came or way b hard work.

The flipside is… If you win the lotto, is it considered as luck or hard work (hard work my arse). Luck excists, end of story.
