A Little Big Planet Review
Little Big Planet
By far one of the most addicting and exciting games out there. I was a bit skeptical at first about this title, but after trying it out there was just so much to do and it kept me coming back.
Created by Media Molecule for the Playstation 3 it has earned the title of game of the year, and has won numerous gaming awards. (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/news/awards/) I would say this would be one of the top Playstation 3 games I would recommend.
To begin the story mode has many unlockable features found in prize bubbles hidden throughout game play. That has you playing levels multiple times to find each one. Sometimes you have to go ahead in the game a bit to find another hidden sticker that unlocks prizes in a previous zone. To some this might sound like it would get boring but I found it to be quite enjoyable as the content never gets old.
Each of the prize bubbles contains various decorations from stickers, to skins and different pieces to be used in creating your own worlds. This game allows you to customize and change anything in the game. You can go through and redecorate the zone your currently playing in if you wanted to sticker it all up. Not to mention all the different customizations for your sack boy, you can have the most unique character in a world that boasts millions of players.
If you play through the entire story line you still haven't scratched the surface. The game gives you the ability to create your own worlds for you to share with others. And the ability to play other worlds created by users. Chances are you will never be able to play all the other worlds available. As of last count there were a little over 4.2 million different levels created by other users. So I would have to say it never gets old it just reinvents itself. What more could you ask for in a game. If you do happen to be a good creator Media Molecule regularly hosts competitions for creating different things in a world and you have a chance at different prizes or having your very own creation promoted.
It does support up to 4 players online which is sometimes the only way to unlock some of the content and can be quite humorous at times playing with others. I would also say if your a trophy collector on the PS3 network this game would yet again be a top pick.
Enjoy
