Enjoy Writing

This article has came at request and what a creative article to be able to write. As many of you know I have been year for a year and believe me it has been not only exciting but fun, some of my articles were boring and others were very interesting. You will not always capture the audience with your subject matter or material, here are is a little bit of advice to keep your keyboard moving.

1. Never give up:

no matter how frustrated you are keep writing, never give up check out the requests as someone out in HubPages land is hoping that someone will pick their subject to write on.

2. Write your own requests:

Sometimes we cannot find the answers and or we haven't any idea on how the article should flow and we need someone's valued thoughts on the subject, request it as not only can you make a new friend , you can also enjoy reading other articles from a fresh point of view.

3. You gain more with sugar then with salt:

I have seen this multiple times where a hubber writes an article and then they get angry or upset when you choose to make your own comment and or they eliminate the comment box all together. My personal advice on this, if you are going to write an article where peoples' opinions are going to be expressed, expect to have many comments and stay open minded as your opinion as much as there's counts. Be open minded and diplomatic when commenting as this has been a lesson learned based on experience, as all are entitled to expression and thoughts.

4. Policy and Procedure: Many newbies do not have a clue on what the policy and procedure is on HubPages, my recommendation is check out the help tab located in the upper right hand corner and read it, as this will eliminate an abundance of frustration and confusion for yourself and will also avoid being flagged and your article being removed.

5. Pictures on articles

Many of us realize that you have to become familiar with the program , however adding pictures and videos to identify your article allows others to understand what you are presenting and seems to attract many more readers then an article without a picturesque view.

6. Who You Are:

Who you are is just as important as the article itself, as adding a profile and a Avatar expressing your character or a picture of yourself paints a thousand words of who you are , as we cannot see each other so we need to see and read about the person.

7. Length of articles:

We all realize that sometimes our articles are way to lengthy and as you get comfortable and start exploring other articles you will find your niche' so do not get frustrated if it is to long or to short , you can always go back and add or delete from the original.

8. Forums:

Forums are there for assistance, socializing, debating and creating topics that you may not have an answer for and would like multiple opinions on . It is not for selling or advertising a product and the best way to get banned from hubpages, is to utilize the forums for spam. Use the forums to the best of your ability and network as you can learn so much from others and it will also make you known to the hubpages community.

9. Fans:

We all know how important having fans are and as you write articles and begin to become a fan , in turn others will join your fan club. You should stop by their hub and let them know that you appreciate their articles as well. Keep in mind they may not visit you , everytime you write an article but they will certainly not leave you either.

10. Have Fun:

Most of all just have fun as everyone in this community is here for you, and if you can't find the answer ask as someone will either provide you with the answer or guide you to the information.

Enjoy writing as you will find HubPages to be a fun-filled community , with a warm atmosphere and a mound of knowledge.

And by the way HAPPY HUBBING!!!
