Answers and Advice Column on Life - Love - Marriage and Anything Else

Updated on September 9, 2010

About Sweetsusieg

I have always enjoyed the ‘Advice’ columns in Newspapers, and have been told that I have some pretty good ideas when it comes to life, love and of course commons sense.  It has been suggested to me that I should write an ‘Advice Column’ by several people that I personally know.  Since our local Newspaper does not have such a column, I am doing the next best thing, creating my own.

Having been a mother for 28 years of 5 different children various ages both male and female .  I am also a wife, so most questions will be within my realm of knowledge, feel free to test me!   I feel that I am qualified to answer most of life’s questions.  I will do so to the best of my ability.

Samy asks:

Why do all men feel like they have to have control of the relationship.

Sweetsusiegs Answer:

Well Samy - I think that is a generalization of all men, but I will try to answer your question as best as possible.  Some men may have been raised in a situation where they see their Father as “Head of the household”, with the mothers either asking advice or not making any decisions at all until the father is questioned on the subject.  They may also have been told “You’re the man, it is up to you to do this, and this etc..”   It is the way the child was raised that determines what type of Adult they will become.

Hope this helps to answer your question.
