Scottsdale is host to Barett-Jackson where avid car collector's or fans come to mingle, look , purchase or reminisce about many of the beautiful vehicles that are presented each year for many sightseers to look at or scoop up and take home to add to there own collection. Scottsdale is home to many art exhibitions from September through December where many famous artists including unknowns exhibit there work for the world to appreciate, admire and enjoy.

Summer in Arizona is not for the person who is not used to unusual high-temperatures along with dry air. If you travel here in the summer and are not a tadpole or pool bunny take a trip up north to get away from the scorching heat. Sedona, Arizona has beautiful red rock, great resorts and restaurants to tantalize every taste bud. Venture up to Flagstaff before you travel to the Grand Canyon stop by The Cottage Place Restaurant open from 5:00pm until 9:30 pm the restaurant was built in 1909 it was originally a home , housing a few families before it was purchased in 1980 and converted the The Cottage Place. The Award of Excellence has been given to The Cottage Place since 1996, the service is excellent and the food is superb, when it comes to fine dining in Flagstaff they are the cream of the crop.
