I often had problems in my stomach before like bloating, burning, nausea, pressure in the upper abdomen, excessive burping due to gas, and cramps. Those painful experience took me 1 month before I went to the doctor and undergo endoscopy. My doctor found out that I had gastritis and some bad bacteria so he prescribe me antacids, inhibitor and antibacterial tablets and had to avoid certain foods like fatty acids, milk, and acidic foods for a month. Eight days after taking the tablets and avoiding those foods I feel much better and taking a zip of boiled ginger once a while feels much more better this because ginger has its natural medicinal benefits.
Ginger can treat. 1. Intestinal disorders and slow digestion. 2. Relieves dyspepsia. 3. Abdominal gas pains. 4. Relieves rheumatic pains and muscle pains. 5. Nausea 6. Vomiting 7. Intestinal Worms. 8. Cough 9. Fever 10. Cold 11. Sore throatWe filipinos call Ginger as Luyang Dilaw and for so long we used it to treat from those symptoms. For my personal experience it really does provide relief.Preparations: 1. Peel off the skin and slice it in pieces then pour boiled water and drink. 2. For sore throat and tooth ache, remove the skin and chew small portions. 3. For rheumatism and muscle pains, pound the root and apply to painful areas.Caution: Ginger may have side effects for taking too much of it so take it moderately.

Thanks Maddie for sharing your experience and right oranges and peppermint works also for nausea.
Wow! this is what i have been looking for, i have the same problem with my stomach. Thx babybrownfox.
Glad this hub could help you...
The first thing I reach for is Ginger whenever I have a cold or flue, in our household it is a stock item as I tend to use it quite often in cooking.
John, I do the same thing whenever I got cold. Boil water and add a sliced pieces of Ginger then zip.
Wow! A medicine that tastes so much better than what the doctor would prescribe. I knew it was good for some of these symptoms but I never even thought about it helping a fever.
I take fresh ginger root every night with hot water and lemon. It's the best for you.
Thanks Nini.. As I'm writing this comment, I'm zipping a cup of warm water with a sliced of ginger. Todays cold weather makes me coughing a lot.
My 5 year daughter and 10 year son like this beverage with honey and lemon
That's very good..

Ginger is great for the digestion. I remember my mother giving me gingerbeer whenever I had the stomach flu as a child. Now, as a trained aromatherapist, I just use the essential oil! Orange and peppermint are also worth noting for their anti-nausea properties.
