The best books for toddlers have lots of pictures and simple story lines. Toddlers love books. They love to cuddle in their Mommy and Daddy's lap while a favorite book is being read to them.

The basic age of toddlers range from about 1 year old through age 3. They are no longer a baby but not yet a preschooler. Books are a great platform for teaching toddlers because they love to learn and love the attention book reading brings them.

Toddlers learn a lot from books. They learn the names for things. They learn colors and numbers. Toddler books can also teach texture and feelings. Books are an excellent way to combine both play and learning for toddlers.
