Big Bras - For The Larger Breasted Lady!
Big Bras (Plus Size Bras, Full Figure Bras or Goddess Bras)
There used to be a time when women with a larger than average bust had problems finding big bras. Thankfully, those days are over! It is now easy to find bras that will help to enhance your shape, and are comfortable and affordable.
Those who have fuller breasts can now rejoice as they discover quality big bras that make them feel seductive and alluring. No longer is a shopping excursion for a bra with a large cup size or a large band size a chore. The lingerie designers of today have not forgotten the well- endowed women. Indeed, there are so many styles and colours to choose from when looking for large sized bras, goddess bras, or plus sized bras that the only trouble you may run into is selecting just one!
Get Fitted for Big Bras
Take a good look in the mirror while wearing the best-fitting bra that you currently own. If you could change anything about the fit of this bra, what would it be? Do your breasts seem to pop out over the top of your bra? Do the straps of your bra dig into your shoulders?
Are you noticing redness and a rash beneath your breasts? Is the bra just plain uncomfortable? All of these problems are common for full figured women, and all of them can be solved by being personally fitted for a bra that flatters your figure, offers your breasts plenty of support, and is comfortable.
Not many people want to walk into a boutique and ask for a professional sizing, but doing so really can make a difference. Most people are wearing the wrong size. According to some experts in the business, up to 80 percent of women wear the wrong size bra. That is does more than just cause a few uncomfortable issues. It can also lead to more serious concerns. If you are not wearing the proper fitting bra, you could end up with painful sores on your shoulders or under your breasts. You may also end up with back problems especially if the undergarment you are wearing is too small or not strong enough to hold you in place.
On the other hand if you place the right type of bra on, you will feel better. You will notice the difference right away. The moral of the story is, then, to turn to a professional for a bra fitting if you have not had one in the last year. Chances are good there is a better size option for you that could make wearing these usually uncomfortable under garments easier to wear.
Measuring for the proper fit is the "breast" thing you can do to insure a good fit.
Most large stores with a lingerie department have someone on staff that has been trained in fitting big bras or plus size bras, as will most lingerie specialty shops. They will measure you for your proper cup size as well as your correct band size. Whether you need bras for a XXXXXX size or just an XL they can help. Goddess bras and full figure bras are more available now than ever.
Women with breast implants often will have the same problems that naturally endowed women have in finding big bras that fit.
Quite a few doctors do not know to tell their patients that an implant can measure a bit wider than a natural breast. This can affect the cup size.
It is a good idea to know what your implant size is before going to a bra fitting. This will help the fitter to determine your proper bra size.
Big Bras Are Not All The Same!
Women with smaller sized breasts seem to have no problem buying bras. No matter who the manufacturer of the bra is, they can pick out one in their size and it usually will fit them quite well. Women with ample breasts are not always that lucky. Some big bras or goddess bras styles and sizes will fit them perfectly, while the fit of other plus size bras and full figure bras will mean they have to go up or down a cup or band size.
Many people will choose a couple of big bra styles that they like and that fit them well, then they will always buy this size and type. That way, they have no trouble when the time comes to purchase a new bra, unless one of the styles they chose has been discontinued.
If your bra is not doing a good job, it is time to have a fitting done by a professional. Then, enjoy yourself while choosing one of the many big bras you will find at a retailer either near your home or online.
Did you know that around 70 percent of women in the United States are wearing a bra that is wrong for them? Out of that percentage, probably around half of those women are full figured. Many of these women have no idea that their bra could fit any better than it already does, because their bra is comfortable for them to wear.
Comfort is important when it comes to wearing a bra, but so is the fit! There is a way that you can determine if your bra is giving your breasts the support they should have. Both breasts should be lifted to a certain height by your bra, and here is how to measure that correct height. Take your right arm, and bend it at the elbow.
You want the arm to form a right angle for this measurement. Once that right angle is at your side, lay your arm across your body’s midsection. Take a look at your right breast. If your bra is supporting that breast properly, then the breast will be halfway in between your elbow and your shoulder.
