Beautiful Girl Beautiful Eyes

Everybody Talked About Her Blue Eyes

She walked into the room,

The bride, so radiant,

accompanied by Elton John..

Her reception started

Blue Eyes

He sang,

I think no one had eyes so blue

Like huge pools of loveliness......

Radiant on her wedding day

Smiling and laughing,

My mother with her blue eyes,

Watched with tears in them,

As the reception hall filled up,

With family, sparkling their blue eyes,

At the bride

The beautiful bride,

And again at her funeral,

We dusted down the tape

Bearing the title

Blue Eyes,,,,,,,,,

A tribute to a lovely girl,

Beautiful radiant, and oh so troubled

Your blue eyes shine out on me daily

   Lesley, my little sister

Every day i miss you more and more

Rest In Peace

dohn121 i am being so brave talking about Lesley lately, as i am remembering the good times. It is so awful when a family member continually tries to end their life until one day it is sucessful, the ripple effect is sooooo imense.

HI..... she was a beauty, 5ft 8 blonde blue eyes, creative, but depression and drink are a killer, i think after 11 years, i am beginning to look at how it affected me, now my mum has died, as before, i just worried about how it affected my mum and Lesley's daughter Maddison, it is a messy thing..... and terrible how it affects us for the rest of our lives....all too deep and heavy. This hub is a real move on for me though. The song is wonderful, it is the first time i have been able to listen to it, and actually enjoyed it once more

So sorry for your losses. I'm glad you've decided to let out some of the hurt. This is something that a person never really gets over, but sometimes its helps to share it with others, and open yourself to their kindness and support.

This is an elegant elegy. It concentrates on the positives of the life, not the negatives. Those are the memories worth remembering.

My special one is not any more in my bed,

Our love is a bound that can see us throug in death

Every night is an ending, full of dreams and nigthmares

Could you please, take my hand and take me there?

Hope someday, i can get back my calm

But being like you, is all i ever want
