Boredom (Sidewalk Prophet Series)
Dreaming, an excursion into fantasy
A thrill without danger
Something like seeing
The flight of a soul
Age and responsibility take their toll
Growing up-time-change-loss
All necessary adaptations of development
Building from one lesson to another
All founded on organized principle
Gaping into himself
The weary man bends the scene to conform
Almost beside himself
With boredom and humiliated
By his own idleness and ordinariness
He is especially ripe
For a fall
Perhaps, he reasons
My existence
Might not be necessary
