Buy HTC Droid Incredible Screen Protectors Online

Updated on April 30, 2010

The HTC Droid Incredible is one of the latest and best touch screen cell phones which is available on the market.  However, as with any of the latest smart phones there is a high financial cost of ownership and so it is prudent to protect your HTC Droid Incredible.  The HTC Droid Incredible has an amazing touch screen and so it is important to protect this.  One such way of protecting your HTC Droid Incredible screen is by adding a screen protector which is a very useful, simple and low cost way of protecting the HTC Droid Incredible's touch screen (which is arguably the most important and yet vulnerable part of the entire cell phone).

Screen protectors are a thin film of plastic which can be stuck to the screen of the new phone. These stick to the screen in such a way as they do not cause any damage to the screen and do not affect its performance in anyway. However they are an additional layer which are designed to get scratched instead of the HTC Droid Incredible screen. As the screen protector is a thin film, once it is scratched it is possible to remove the screen protector with the HTC Droid Incredible screen hopefully remaining scratch free at which point a new screen protector is added to the HTC Droid Incredible screen.

Screen protectors are relatively low cost items when compared with the cost of the HTC Incredible phone (costing just a few dollars as opposed to hundreds or thousands for the cell phone) it makes perfect sense to buy them. However, it can sometimes be hard to buy screen protectors designed specifically for the HTC Droid Incredible in normal stores. However, as with many specialised items, these can be found online and often at a lower cost than they may be found for in shops.

What follows here are some of the most popular HTC Droid Incredible screen protectors which can be found on the Amazon website, along with a brief description of each item.

The first HTC Droid Incredible screen protector is shown on the right.  This is the Skinomi Techskin screen protector for the HTC Droid Incredible.  Whilst it is potentially more expensive than some other screen protectors which are available for the HTC Droid Incredible, it is definitely worth considering paying the bit extra for that extra bit of quality.  The company claims that the same technology is used by NASA and the USAF.  This combined with the fact that the company offers a free lifetime replacement for any screen protectors which becomes damaged suggests that it is a very good quality screen protector - if anything will protect your HTC Droid Incredible screen this is probably it!

To the right is an alternative screen protector for the HTC Droid Incredible.  This is the same as the Skinomi Tech skin screen protector which was mentioned earlier - with the exception that in addition to the sheet providing protection for the screen, it also comes with other pieces in the packet to protect the entire phone from scratches and grazes.  Whilst there is obviously an additional cost to this, it is still relatively low compared with the cost of the Incredible cell phone and so is worth the cost if you want to protect your entire phone fro scratches.

On the right is a different option for purchasing a screen protector and much more besides for a HTC Droid Incredible.  Included in the pack along with the screen protector (here called a screen guard) is a HTC Droid Incredible vehicle charger, a Droid Incredible wall charger, a USB cable for connecting the Droid Incredible up to a compatible device and charge, a holster pouch, a hands free system and finally a universal car mount.  All in all this is an incredible deal for a large variety of HTC Droid Incredible accessories, including of course a screen protector.

Another option to protect the new HTC Droid Incredible will be through the use of the case such as the one to the side. Such cases, also known as shells are fairly useful as they can protect the cell phone but I would always recommend using it in conjunction with a screen protector to prevent scratches to the screen when the phone is out of the shell. Above and to the right is an unusual shell for the HTC Droid Incredible in that it clips to a belt, like a gun holster, and the phone can quickly be removed - a very useful addition to a screen protector for added protection of an HTC Incredible!
