Buy Motorola Droid Screen Protectors Online

Updated on February 18, 2010

The Motorola Droid (known as the Milestone in Europe is a new phone which was released in America before Christmas and has recently been released in a number of other markets.  It has many features including a large touch screen - but as we all know this is made of glass and so can easily be scratched when in pockets etc.  As such many people choose to buy screen protectors to protect the screen such as those reviewed below.

A common problem with phones such as the Motorola Droid is being able to see the screen especially in bright sunlight when there can be bad reflections known as screen glare.  However it is possible to minimise screen glare by buying the screen protectors shown on the right.  These screen protectors not only protect the screen, they also reduce screen glare which makes it easier to use the phone outdoors particularly in the summer.  Definitely a good buy!

Possibly the cheapest screen protector available for the Motorola Droid is that one which is shown to the right.  The cost is $4.99 and for that price you get 5 screen protectors which works out at less than a dollar for each protector!  Definitely worth the money to protect the newly bought phone!

To the right is another cheap screen protector which is available.  Whilst the per unit cost is higher than others, since only one is purchased it is the cheapest option available.

There are several screen protectors for the Motorola Droid/Milestone which also come with special cleaning cloths.  These are special cloths designed to allow the screen to be cleaned without creating any sort of damage to the screen protector, which helps prevent the screen protector itself becoming damaged.  Cleaning the screen is required more nowadays due to the fact that phones like the Motorola Droid are touch screen and therefore likely to come into contact with dirty hands.

As screen protectors can become damaged (but at least it isn't the screen that gets damaged!) there can occasionally be the wish to change the screen protectors.  By purchasing these screen protectors free replacements are offered when the screen protectors gets damaged - for the lifetime of the Motorola Droid phone!  Definitely a good buy!

These are some of the best screen protectors currently on the market.  As can be seen, whilst there is some variation in price (mainly due to the quality of the screen protectors) even the most expensive are much cheaper than the cost of the Motorola Droid.  As such, it seems to me that it is a very good investment to spend $15 on decent screen protectors for a phone which can cost 50x that amount rather than using no screen protectors and risk preventable damage occurring to the phone.
