Cell Phones and Depression

It's easy to see how cell phones can depress you especially if the news you are getting is bad. The studies from Wayne State University in Detroit shows that cell phone radiation is linked to insomnia, headaches, and depression.

You may be suffering from cell phone over-exposure.

According to a report in the British newspaper The Independent, sweeping new research has linked the radiation emitted by mobile phones to such symptoms as confusion, sleeping problems and chronic headaches.

Scientists studying 35 men and 35 women found that using the phones before bed delays and shortens the deep stages of sleep—the part of sleep that allows the brain and body to repair and rejuvenate from the day's wear and tear.

In children and teens, who tend to use their phones late at night, the study found that the sleep disturbances caused by the radiation can trigger depression, mood swings, ADHD-like symptoms, personality changes, impair concentration and academic performance.

It seems that the radiation from mobile phones can make it difficult to both fall and stay asleep. The radiation can delay and shorten the deep stages of sleep, important since this is when your brain and body repair and rejuvenate, making exposure linked to headaches, difficulty in concentrating, depression, and personality changes.

Use a Headset

Even with the vast array of headsets available many people still put the cell phone up to their ear. The connection between sleep and depression is more of a deprivation problem than a chemical imbalance. This doesn't mean that this continuous habit can't lead to more severe problems which are compounded by the ignorance of the cause.

Over time lack of sleep can cause chemical imbalances that can be the root cause of depression. From there depression can branch out into more illnesses both mental and physical. Some of theses signs

  • Anxiety
  • Allergies
  • Headaches
  • Obesity
  • Digestive Disorder

can indicate you have a depressive disorder.

Tests

Toxins are the major cause of illnesses and depression is in that mix. You can ask your doctor for a battery of blood tests to determine what toxins might be at high levels. Have some allergy tests done to see if the imbalances could be from a reaction. Once you get to the bottom of this you doctor will probably prescribe something for you, time to make choices.

We feel you are just adding fuel to the flame by putting more drugs into your system. This is a choice you have to make, but there are alternatives that are natural.

To start just the act of sweating is natures way of removing toxins, but if your system is really congested at a cellular level this might require a different approach. If you go to the health hub you will find other options to handle depression.

Depression can be a horrible disease that ruins your life. It doesn't have to be that way and you can do it without drugs. You can get control back by finding out what options you have. Visit the link above to find out how..

Look for a brain tumor epidemic as kids and teenagers who have them glued to their ears get older.

I, as an electronics and communication engineer don't believe in this. Science still has to proof this.

I do believe the lawyers will make the connection one day and as humans often do they become addicted. This in itself can cause depression. I appreciate your comment as always.
