Deanie's Seafood: 2 Locations for Great Seafood in NOLA
If you're planning a trip to New Orleans and you want to enjoy a terrific seafood meal, make sure to visit one of the city's Deanie's Seafood restaurants.
If you love seafood and you find yourself in New Orleans, you owe it to yourself to try this super seafood restaurant!
I visit New Orleans several times each year and make certain to stop by Deanie's at least once each time I am in the city.
Just remember to go hungry and be prepared to wait if you visit at a peak meal time. Deanie's doesn't take reservations, and it's no secret that the restaurant has awesome food.
Plan ahead and allow plenty of time to be seated and to savor your meal. It'll be worth the wait!
Food Selections at Deanie's Seafood
No matter what kind of seafood you enjoy, you're sure to find something that you will love on the menu at Deanie's Seafood. Whether you are looking for a specialty seafood entrée, a fried seafood platter, a traditional New Orleans po-boy sandwich, or super seafood gumbo, Deanie's has what you want.
When you are seated, your server will bring you a basket filled with hot and spicy boiled potatoes and butter to snack on while you peruse the menu and wait for your selections. The restaurant has great specials that change regularly, so be sure to pay attention to what might be available that's not on the menu.
The menu at Deanie's Seafood features many choices for appetizers, entrees, seafood platters, sandwiches, desserts, and more. I've tried many different items on the menu, and everything has been great. The fried seafood batter has a little kick – just like you'd expect from a NOLA restaurant. The grilled items also taste great. I think the Crawfish Balls are probably the most unique item I've sampled from Deanie's, and I'll definitely order them again.
