G Kindle Early Black Friday Deals - Saving money on Black Friday

Updated on November 27, 2010

Black Friday is known as the beginning of the shopping season for Christmas. It has been the Friday following Thanksgiving. Black Friday has only been traced back to the 1960's. It is not an official holiday, although many people have the day off as part of the Thanksgiving holiday but I do not. Working in a Nursing home, people need care for 24/7 so its hard to get most holidays off. Many retailers open there stores extremely early. The term black friday means when stores are actually making a profit and are in the black in accounting terms. If the stores write in black it means a positive balance or when income exceedes expenses, red ink would mean a negative balance or when expenses exceede income. Black Friday is also the most important day of the year for retailers.

Shot at home this Black Friday. Its the easiest and safest way to go. Amazon is also starting there Black Friday deals early this year. Starting November 22, 2010 there will be a week of Black Friday deals. Amazon will also be adding new deals all day every day. Amazon will have the lowest prices of the year on electronics, DVS's, Toys, jewelry and more.

Kindle

For starters the new Kindle Wireless Reading device, Wi-Fi, 6", display, Graphite would make an excellent Christmas gift at $189.00 and any order over $25 has free shipping or with just Wi-Fi for just $139.00.

The new Kindle has a new electronic-ink screen with 50 percent better contrast than any other e-reader, a new awesome design with a 21 percent smaller body and still keeps the same 6-inch-size area of reading, and the product also weighs just 8.5 ounces which is a 17 percent lighter weight. The page turns are also 20 percent faster, battery life up to one month, storage space is douple to 3,500 books, built-in Wi-Fi, a graphite color option and more.

Everyone is talking about the new Kindle and it would make a great gift for school aged kids or for people who like to read. For 139.00 at Amazon thats a great deal. I would love one myself. This device is also ranked #1 for Amazon Devices for the best selling product.
