Earn Dollars While Sitting At Home!

A Dollar-Earner Chair
You read the title correctly. You can earn dollars while sitting down on a chair inside your home.
I promise, this job won’t bore you to death:-). On the contrary, you’ll have an alert mind, a relaxed lifestyle, and a healthy pocket. Just read along…
Actually, you can also earn money while standing, kneeling, reclining, and lying on your stomach through *gasp*....writing.
What's so Scary about Writing?
What! Writing? Are you serious? I can't write! I have no talent! I don't know where to start! And so on and so forth.
Hey, stop procrastinating. Just ask yourself: do you want to earn some money while inside the comfort of your home? While taking care of your family?
And your answer should be: Of course, yes!
Now, let's tackle your imaginary obstacles.
You Can Be A Dollar-Earner Writer
Writing is 99 percent perspiration and only 1 percent inspiration.
Don’t be scared by this saying. It should encourage you because it means you don’t need loads of inborn talent just to be able to write.
Everybody is a born writer because everybody has a mind. The mind is the most powerful tool in writing. Therefore, you just write what you think.
You’ll have to put in some hours of honest work, of course. Sometimes, even days or weeks. But here's a great part: you can just write about yourself.
Your Writing Tools
OK, let’s move forward. What are the other essential writing tools—aside from your brain? The simpler ones, you can rummage around your house: pencils and papers, books, a dictionary and a thesaurus. And lastly, a computer with Internet connection, of course.
Also, an old typewriter. This out-dated mechanism is always handy when there’s no electricity or when your computer crashes down—and your creative juices won’t stop from overflowing.
All set? Get your paper and pencil, please. We’ll start writing your first draft now. I meant ‘outline’ for the word ‘draft’. (Personally, I prefer to write directly to my computer; specifically on MS Word. The words and sentences are easier to move around when I want to insert more ideas.)
Use any Available Tool
I use MS Word because it has a built-in grammar and spelling checker, plus a thesaurus and dictionary. You can use an alternative tool, of course. I found other choices for downloadable software for article writing on YouTube, but I like this one most. Check out this video.
Essential Software for Writing
Start Early with Good Habits
Develop good habits at this early stage. Always verify the meaning of a dubious word. Do not be hesitant to look into the dictionary or thesaurus.
Read any printed materials that you have around the house: books, newspapers, or grocery labels. Never go to sleep at night without reading at least one page of a book.
Each afternoon, especially when the babies are having their nap (if you have babies), set aside a few minutes for some Internet browsing.
Remember: don't bore yourself. Just read anything that catches your interest.
Open Up
Be alert and observant. Use all five senses at all times, especially every time that you go out. Look, listen, smell, touch, and taste (whenever possible-and only if the thing is edible, of course!).
Absorb everything around you. Maximize your memory bank. Store every experience inside your brain.
What the Heck Am I Going to Write About?
How blue was the color of the sky early this morning? How musical was the humming of the birds at the park? How sweet was the smell of flowers from the neighborhood florist? How smooth and yummy was the chocolate cake at the coffee shop?
You might also notice the small (and oftentimes, negative) things that were being ignored unconsciously; such as, the peeling paint on your front door, the grating sounds coming from your washing machine when in use, the nauseating odor of smoke from a cigarette, or even the rough callouses on your palms, as well as the bad after-taste of the wine that you always buy because it's the cheapest.
What's the point of this whole exercise?
What else, but to look for your 1% inspiration?
On Creative Writing: How to Develop Realistic Characters
Finding a Topic
Were you inspired by the video? This could help if you chose creative writing. It's like knitting or cross stitching. Your descriptions should be colorful and detailed to make your stories or poems realistic and interesting.
Do not get frustrated if you think your writing sounds ridiculous at first. Just continue writing.
Write every idea that pops inside your head. Do not wait until after you cooked dinner or washed the clothes. Ideas are like bubbles. When they burst, they're gone forever. Jot them down on anything. It is handy to have a small notebook and pen with you all the time.
Practice makes perfect. This is a cliché but still true. So scribble all your apprehensions and inhibitions away.
How to Write Articles Using the Reverse Funnel System
You do all these to enhance the flavor and the presentation of the food that you cook. And how your family loves them all!
You can do the same with your writing. Your computer is your pot. The ingredients are all words. Words that describe your thoughts, your experiences, and your memories stored inside your brain. (Don't forget your scribbled ideas. They might be your spices.)
Perfect Recipe for Writing
Writing is also like cooking. You choose the right ingredients. You follow the recipe's procedure-at first.
After you cooked the dish several times, you make variations to it. You experiment with spices, just to try for a different taste. You also change the vegetables, or include some if there's none.

thank you for reading, zain. it's not necessarily your life story that you could write about. what about your experiences (practical and domestic)? or about your personal views and opinions. what you talk about with your friends and family. start with things that come out naturally from you because they're easier to write into blogs or articles:)
