Easy, Fast Delicious Dessert - The Pazooki!!
I Love this dessert, and it is so easy. There is only one rule for this dessert. It must be consumed while the cookie is still ho t . Don't wait for the cookie to cool down the satisfaction rating will go down.
It is just awesome to eat it hot, while the ice cream is melting. It will feed four easily and if you are running low, just add more ice cream and everyone is guaranteed to be satisfied.
Remember those cookie ice cream sandwiches they sell at the convenience market? This is based on that only much better. It's like comparing a great Filet Mignon to a ground chuck burger. They both come from a cow, but aren't in the same league.
Ingredients: One roll of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough or chocolate chunk cookie dough will also work. Half a gallon of Costco Vanilla Ice Cream - other brands will work, but not as well - Costco Vanilla Ice Cream is totally Awesome! I am not kidding. Try it You'll Like It!!
Preparation: I use about 2/3 of the cookie dough to make one massive cookie. Bake it at 375 degrees, until it is still soft in the middle and lightly browned around the edges, about 10-15 minutes. Then scoop a bunch of vanilla ice cream on top.
Eating Instructions: If you are really hungry eat this between two people, but there is plenty for four. Everybody grab a spoon and dig in, try to eat fast enough to stay ahead of the ice cream that is melting on the steaming hot cookie. This dessert takes 15 minutes from the time you open the cookie dough until you are ready to devour it.
This is a great kids birthday dessert, It is also a great adults birthday dessert, in fact this is just a great dessert to eat whenever the craving strikes - which will probably be often, once you try it.
