The Easiest Slow Cooker Recipe Ever-Swiss Steak

1 round steak

1 can tomatoes

1 onion

salt and pepper

This is so easy! Lay the round steak in the bottom of the slow cooker. You can use a less expensive cut of meat because it will be cooking all day. Add one can of tomatoes. The tomatoes tenderize the meat. Slice one onion and add on top. Add salt and pepper, to taste.

That's it! Set on LOW and cook 8 hours. Delicious! Serve with mashed potatoes and a vegetable.

Sicilian Meat Loaf

My favorite meat loaf recipe is delicious!

2 lbs lean ground beef

1/2 cup spaghetti sauce (I usually use leftover sauce but you can use the jar) Reserve some to put on top after meat loaf is done.

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup cracker crumbs

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon oregano

2 cloves garlic

3 teaspoons parsley

8 slices ham, deli thin sliced

8 oz. (1 cup) mozzarella cheese, grated

Mix first 9 ingredients. Pat out to 10 X 16 on double layer waxed paper. Arrange ham on top of meat (overlapping) and leave a border. Sprinkle cheese on top of ham. Roll up loaf. Place in greased slow cooker. Cover. Cook on LOW 8-10 hours, HIGH 4-6 hours. Spread reserved spaghetti sauce on top. Cover. Cook 15 minutes until sauce is heated. Serves about 8.

Fast and Easy Sloppy Joes

3 cans Manwich (If you can't get Manwich use 1 small onion, chopped,
2 1/4 C. barbecue sauce, 1/2 tsp. salt,1/8 tsp. pepper)

3 pounds ground beef or ground turkey

Brown ground beef or turkey in skillet. Drain. (If you are making your own Manwich, brown the onions with the ground beef.)

Add to slow cooker.

Stir in 3 cans Manwich, (or homemade Manwich)

Cook on HIGH 1 hour or until heated through.

Reduce heat to WARM or LOW setting.
