Free Ways To Get Listed In Search Engines

This hub is dedicated to learn how to submit your URL to search engines manually for free.

Over the past five years I have read claim after claim how a webmaster needs to pay money in order to get their website listed on major search engines. Those claims are not true. I have learned how to submit my URLs for free to major search engines and it does not take hours of your time to do it.

Once a month I sit down for about an hour to submit my many URLs to search engines. Firstly I open each of my websites and hubs in different tabs. Opening each website or hub in it's own tab allows you to copy and paste the URLs when needed to easily paste them when it's time to submit them. Doing so prevents typos. Then I open a new tab to start manually submitting my URLs to search engines.

Sign into your Adsense Account and click on the "Resources Tab". Under "Reference" click on "Webmaster Central" and from there you will see a link which says "Submit it to Google at http://www.google.com/addurl.html".

Go to Yahoo.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Suggest A Site". Once there click on "Submit Your Site For Free".

Go to Orangesubmit.com and submit your Domain Name. Click "submit" and your on your way.

Go to Submitexpress.com and under "Quick Links" click "Free Submission".

Go to Addme.com and under "Free Search Engine Submission" click "submit now".

Go to Bing.com and simply submit your URL.

Go to Webpagestar.com and fill in the required information. This search engine requires a reciprocal link. Well, because I have a link here to B2B Directorythis is considered a reciprocal link.

The search engines I suggest here at this hub are the search engines I use monthly. Sometimes I submit to many more and the way I do this is, I go to google.com, yahoo.com and so on and type in the search fields "free URL submission to search engines". Browse around this search results and you will come across many more search engines which let you submit your website and hubs for free.

Tip: When search engines review your website or hub for indexing they are checking your "keywords" or "tags". It's very important to use "keywords" or "tags" which fit your websites topic. For additional tips on "targeting keywords" visit: Targeting Keywords to learn how to get the best keywords for your website or hub.

Manually submitting your website or hub to search engines monthly can increase your chances of getting indexed and using "keywords" or "tags" can also increase your chances of getting indexed.

I hope reading this hub has helped you understand how you can use free resources to increase traffic to your website and hubs.

High pr directories are important to submit to as well. Thos are needed and should always be submitted to often as they take can quite a long time to be hand reviewed by the site owners.
