Having recently returned from a trip to Israel, I feel compelled to share the experience.
It was wonderful, the historical and Biblical sites were amazing, the cities were great and people were wonderful.
I will write about all of that in later hubs, but what do tourists really care about? T-shirts.
Here are a few of the funniest I encountered.
Proud of That Military Tradition
There is certainly no lacking of a sense of military history and might, and for good reason.
Is there any doubt that the Israeli Defense Force Rocks? They know it, and their T-shirt industry loves it.
A Little Religious Humor
What would the Israeli t-shirt industry be without a little religious humor.
This category could go on and on obviously, but here are a few classics. Enjoy.
The Influence of the West
The influence of the American film and music industry at its finest.
What is this world coming to?

And Since I'm From Texas
A little love for the Lone Star State, all the way from the holy land.
And, "yes", everyone in Israel asked me if I owned a horse.
I don't, by the way. Ain't travel fun?

I like that, Eric. Actually, the Hebrew word is just a spelling of "Cowboys" using the Hebrew equivalent letters, it's not the Hebrew word for Cowboys.
Jewish Holidays and Spurs of David are my favorites.
"They tried to kill us. We won." -- That's my life too! :)
I have a hard time deciding on a favorite, but the Jewish Holidays is definitely in my top 3. I'm a San Antonio Spurs fan, so I had to (David Robinson/King David).
Ha! Thats pretty funny.
Thanks, Travel by Design. I thought so too.
Peter! Guns & Moses! Hilarious, I really loved it.
I can hardly wait to read about your trip.
Shalom Y'All (my fave# 1) Zsuzsy
Shalom, Zsuzsy. It was great, almost as good as the T-shirts.
Quite delightful, Peter, must show this to my son! :)
By all means, I hope he enjoys them as well.
Don't worry, be Jewish...hehe I like that. :-) Interesting hub.
Thanks, ripplemaker. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
NOT funny...'jew talkin to me' is sick considering the tragic history of the Jewish people.
My apologies to you lahiem, if you were offended. That was not my intent at all. I think if you me, you would know that I love the Jewish people tremendously. I'm sure you are aware that these are not my creations, and I came across these in Israel. I also commented on the sense of humor of the Jewish people, which is admirable considering exactly what you reference.
ur all soo sstupid this is y the world is nuts!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry you were offended, sarah. I meant no controversy. I will admit to being somewhat nuts though.
Hee! Those are great! I especially like the Jewish Holidays one.
Indeed. That about sums it up, doesn't it? Thanks, kerryg.
Fantastic hub! My father in law's line was that every religious holy day could be summed up as, "they tried to kill us all, some of us lived, let's eat"

Good one. I didn't know there was a Hebrew word for cowboys! I think we need a breakdown of the word picture found in those letters. It probably reads something like "Team of divine favor and love."
