You have heard of Yahoo. You have heard of Google. But have you heard of GahooYoogle? Yes. Its just that. Its a combination of Yahoo and Google. Google + Yahoo = GahooYoogle. GahooYoogle.com helps you to search both Google and Yahoo at the same time.

Google + Yahoo = GahooYoogle
Google + Yahoo = GahooYoogle

According to various online statistics, most people all over the world use either Google or Yahoo as their primary search engine everyday.

Now you can search them both at the same time with GahooYoogle.com!

The GahooYoogle.com concept was invented by Internet entrepreneur Arbel Hakopian. Actually this site has been up since 2005. I wonder why it didn't really catch on with enthusiasts in a big way.

It is not a commercial site and is up and running only for educational purposes. This search service is totally free for all users and visitors.

A typical search result page on GahooYoogle

As you can see, it gives results from both Yahoo and Google at the same time. And its really fast too! On an average 70% of the first 100 results are different in both Yahoo and Google. So this site is very helpful in doing a comparative search study. Moreover GahooYoogle has got a friendly userface and it lets you search in categories like Web, Images, Videos, News, Shopping, Directory, Answers, and Blogs. These days I use it more often for my comparitive searches. Definitely this is worth a try.

UPDATE : GahooYoogle is now PolyCola.com, also, SearchBoth.com is online with same features. Thank you Steve for the information.

PolyCola, formerly known as GahooYoogle has even more features. Now you can search with any of the following search engines in pairs. Yahoo, Google, Live, Ask, DogPile, AltaVista and AOL which makes it even more powerful and easier to compare the search results.

Polycola is a metasearch engine which was previously known as GahooYoogle. It simulantaneously searches Google, Yahoo!, Live Search, Ask.com, Dogpile, AltaVista and AOL.

It was started with the domain www.GahooYoogle.com [1] in 2005 but it was shut down due legal problems. Currently it is operating with the address www.polycola.com
