Gamewright Games are Awesome

Gamewright Games
Gamewright Games makes some of the coolest and most creative card games I have ever played. My whole family loves them and we play them all of the time. The games are all very unique, yet also very easy learn and play.
One of my families favorite past times is playing games. We can't always all play together but, some variation of us plays a few games practically every day. My son Jakob is always asking to play a game. A lot of our games can take a while to play or setup. So the Gamewright Games are perfect when we need a short and fun game to play. They are also very portable since they don't take up much room. They are great to bring on trips or to a relatives house.
The company was started in 1994 by four parents who wanted to make great games for their kids. They now have over 50 different games and many of them have won numerous awards. The games are all very well priced and are made of very high quality material. It shows that they really care about all of their games. For the most part they are mostly card games and can be played in about 10-20 minutes. But, your kids will probably want to keep playing them. We tend to play a few games in a row each time we take one of the games out.
We learned about Gamewright only a few years ago and were just so impressed with the few games we tried. So since then we bought numerous others. My six year old son's favorite game is Hisss. It is a color matching game in which you need to build colorful snakes. If you complete a snake you take all of the cards that make up the snake. Then of course the one with the most cards is the winner. My other son is nine and he really likes Slamwich. It is kind of similar to Slap Jack. You take turns putting down cards then when the cards are placed in the order to make a sandwich you slam your hand down on the cards and yell, "Slamwich!" The first person gets the cards. I am hoping to get Loot for our next game. Everyone likes pirates and it seems really cool trying to take each others treasure.
Toy Links
- Best Games For Boys
Boys love to play board games and card games. Here are some of my boys favorite games. Some favorites are classics like checkers and connect four. They also like some of the newer games like Scene-It and the various great Cranium Games.
Some Great Games From Gamewright
I used to have links to lots of the great games my boys and I love to play. But, since that is "overly promotional" I decided I should still let you see some great games even if that means you need to go to Amazon or wherever yourself to find links to them on your own. Sorry for the inconvenience. These are all great games for kids and you should check them out. Many can be purchased at local toy stores too.
